Inskiers Holiday Party at Marci and Mike's

Celebratory Inskiers:

It's time to start dusting off your sleigh bells and shining up your tinsel. Our annual holiday party is taking place on Friday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m.! This epic tradition will again take place at the lovely home of our illustrious President Marci and her dutiful husband, Mike. It is just a few blocks from San Carlos' Eucalyptus Avenue (aka "Christmas Light Row") which we'll be walking at 7:15 p.m. This party will be a potluck and we will welcome ugly Christmas sweaters and the partisan color "red." An outer garment is warranted if you choose to participate in the Christmas lights stroll. Legend has it that 9 months following this light walk, local hospital birthing wards are flooded with a plethora of new babies sporting red noses!

Note: This will be our fifth indoor event since your Inskier Board of Directors have enacted this new rule:

Attendees of indoor Inskiers' sponsored events must provide proof of COVID vaccination in advance of, or at the time of the event, or provide a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event.

An Inskier volunteer will be checking everyone's status at this event. Please be ready to provide either:

Paper Copy of front of Card

Photo of front of Card

A digital copy of your vaccination record which can be obtained by visiting: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/

Or a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours

And due to the Delta variant the CDC is now recommending that masks be worn during indoor activities , so we will also be wearing masks indoors. I think mask wearing around the food tables at a potluck is particularly important even though Covid is an air born illness - in part because that's where we tend to congregate. So, please be considerate of others and mindful of ways to keep us all safe!

Suggested offerings by first name are as follows, although if you have a family favorite or award winning dish by all means bring that. Mmmm delicious! And bring a favorite beverage for yourself and others too if you feel so inclined.
