2012 FWSA Ski Week at Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Jan 28 – Feb 4, 2011
The BAC is now accepting sign ups for FWSA Ski Week 2012 at Jackson Hole, Wyoming the week of January 28th to February 4, 2012. Pricing for Jackson Hole ranges from $970 - $1650 without air. The attachments include trip flyer, information sheet, and preference sheet.
While Jackson Hole clearly appeals to the advanced skier, the resort has much to offer all levels of skiers. If you’re feeling just a tad intimidated, I hope the following information will help put you at ease.
How is the skiing - will it be too hard?
It’s a little known fact that Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is as great a place for learning to ski as it is for cruising, long intermediate groomers. Beginner and intermediate trails make up 50% of our terrain, meaning that our non-advanced/expert terrain acreage (1250 acres) is larger than many ski resorts' total terrain. Yes, we're known for the Aerial Tram and expert terrain, but they're only half the story, with the Bridger Gondola and Apres Vous Quad accessing the mellow side of the mountain. We highly recommend lessons with our Mountain Sports School, and if you're looking for a little more challenge, you might consider a Steep & Deep Camp or Backcountry Guide.
We also offer complimentary Mountain Host tours. Get to know the mountain through an intermediate guided tour on groomed terrain by our fabulous Hosts. Tours run daily at 9:30am and 1pm and meet outside Walk Festival Hall, equidistant from Nick Wilson's and the Bridger Center.
Whether you're just getting started or can't remember how long ago you made your first turns, skiing or snowboarding Jackson Hole is an experience you won't soon forget.
Secure you spot on the trip with deposit of $200 per person. Make check payable to BAC with Jackson Hole noted. Trip deposits may be mailed to my home address below. Your $200 deposit is fully refundable up to July 1, 2011 if plans change and you must cancel.
