Theaterworks -A Christmas Memory

Inskiers,

I have obtained FREE tickets for Inskiers to a dress rehearsal of a TRUMAN CAPOTE play (see below) for Tuesday,  Nov. 30, in Palo Alto.  Tickets for regular performances are $27 to $42.  Please email Mary Ann M  by Friday Nov. 26, the day after Thanksgiving (preferably earlier) if you are interested, so we can 'order' enough tickets (and if you cannot come at the last minute, please email before 5 pm Tues. Nov. 30 or call or text my cell.  Some of you may have attended free rehearsals before through other groups.  Usually the play goes straight through.  Ocassionally they interrupt for direction.  If you have seen a Theatreworks production before, As Ed said, you know they are a terrific professional company.

The doors open at 7:00 PM with performance at 8:00 PM.  Please arrive 7:15-7:45.  If enough people are interested, we may arrange a dinner beforehand near the theatre.

Parking: There is free parking in front of the theater and on the streets.

Sure to delight the entire family, Truman Capote’s enchanting masterpiece springs to life in this big-hearted musical treat. A wistful memoir of cherished youth, it chronicles the 1930s friendship of a shy boy and his eccentric aunt—misfits who launch kites, haunt speakeasies, and mail fruitcakes to everyone from Jean Harlow to President Roosevelt!

CHRISTMAS MEMORY IN DEVELOPMENT

At this stage of development authors, director, orchestrator, musical director, and actors worked over the course of a week, adding, cutting, and shaping the show.
