Got your trail munchies ready? Camelbacked filled and frozen? We will
be leaving at 8:30am this Sat the 12th from the Los Gatos Brewery in
Los Gatos. Carpooling will be determined at the parking lot. If you
have a multi-passenger vehicle it will be appreciated. Don't worry,
riders will compensate you for your gasoline and graciousness!

We will be hiking at Henry Cowell State Park near Felton. If you are
driving to the park on your own, the directions to the park are as
follows:

From CA 17 in Santa Cruz County, exit Mt. Hermon Road. Drive
northwest on Mt. Hermon Road through Scotts Valley to the end of the
road in Felton (about 3.5 miles). Turn right onto Graham Hill Road,
get into the left lane, and turn left onto CA 9. Drive about 0.5 mile
south on CA 9, then turn left into the signed park entrance road.
Drive about 0.5 mile to the entrance kiosk, then continue straight
0.1 mile to the main parking lot, at the end of the road.

We plan to meet at the Henry Cowell Park at approx. 9:15am. There is
a $6 parking fee.

Directions to the Los Gatos Brewery: Take Highway 17 S to Saratoga
exit turning R to Los Gatos. L on N Santa Cruz Ave. to 130 N Santa
Cruz. We will meet in the parking lot behind it between Santa Cruz
and University Ave. We are LEAVING at 8:30 !

Don't forget your sunscreen and bug repellent, just in case! We will
discuss lunch afterwards when we finish the hike and see what time of
day we have....
